There's no getting rid of the past. It's a lesson that I'm still trying to learn. For years I've been trying to befriend the skeletons in my closet. To accept that everything led me to where I am today. But from time to time, I deny. Denial has led me to dark places. I cannot deny the existence of these demons, these so called pleasant memories from my childhood. Because if I do try, they come back when I'm off guard. Not ready to protect myself from my own mind. The elderly are sneaky creatures. They raised me, nursed me, made me who I am. If anything I should be thankful. But they drag me down, they hurt me. And if I try and KILL THE ELDERLY, they'll hunt me down at night.
